Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Felicia Levin began dancing at an early age at local studios. In 2005, Levin moved to Augusta, Georgia to attend John S. Davidson Magnet School to specialize in Modern Dance. She trained in Graham and Horton technique under the tutelage of Sharon Skeeple Mayfield, a former principal soloist of Garth Fagan Dance Company. While in school, Levin trained with Augusta West Dance Studio and competitively performed in jazz, contemporary, tap, hip hop and ballet in the Southeastern United States. Additionally, Levin choreographed and taught for other competition teams. Upon high school graduation, Levin headed to Arizona State University where she received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance Education. While in college, Levin specialized in Post- Modern Contemporary and her choreographic works have been performed in Dance Festivals around the state. Levin then moved back to Miami, Florida, where she teaches at local high schools and studios.
