Ticket Sale Information
Sale Date: Sunday May 21st 11:00 am-2:00 pm
Details: Ticket purchasers may arrive earlier than 11:00am if they choose and form a line outside of the studio doors. At approximately 10:00am studio personnel will distribute numbers that correspond with purchasers place in line (exe: if you are first in line you will receive the number 1). You may NOT hold spaces in line for other friends/family members. You may only purchase tickets for your dancer, you cannot purchase tickets for other dancers. During this time you will be able to place a FINAL order for recital extras (the form can be found on this page). After this date we will be unable to accept Recital Extras forms.
IMPORTANT NOTE: On Sunday May 21st ticket purchases will be limited to 6 tickets per dancer.

Pricing: Tickets will be $25.00 each. Additional tickets can be purchased beginning May 24th 2023 from the front desk during regular office hours. Tickets purchased after May 31st at the front desk will be $28.00. Tickets purchased on the day of recital or at the door will be $30.00 each. Tickets are required for all attendees including young children and toddlers. Seating will be assigned, you will be able to select your seating at the time of ticket purchase.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: All studio accounts must be paid in full before you will be eligible to purchase recital tickets. If your account has a balance you will be refused the opportunity to purchase tickets until your balance is paid.
Rehearsal Schedule
The TENATIVE rehearsal schedule is as follows and is subject to change. It is your responsibility to check this page for updates prior to attendance during the week of rehearsal. Rehearsals will be held at Arthur & Polly Mays 6-12 Conservatory of the Arts.
Tuesday June 13th:
Rehearsal time 4pm-8:30pm. No costumes required for this rehearsal.

Wednesday June 14th:
Rehearsal time 4pm-8:30pm. No costumes required for this rehearsal.

Thursday June 15th: FULL TECH REHEARSAL
Rehearsal time 4pm-8:30pm. No costumes required for this rehearsal.
Participation in tech rehearsal is MANDATORY for ALL dancers. This rehearsal allows the director to set lighting cues, stages entrances and exits, and time the audio for the performance. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Friday June 16th: FULL DRESS REHEARSAL
Rehearsal time 4pm-8:30pm. Costumes required for this rehearsal.
All students required to attend
Participation in staging and dress rehearsal is MANDATORY for ALL dancers. This rehearsal allows the students to become familiar with the auditorium and feel at ease with their performance, costume changes, and the experience of being on stage. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start time. All dancers should be in full hair and make up. If you are unsure of how to do full hair and make up please see tutorials below. No colored nail polish.
Hair & Make Up
All female students are required to have their hair in a bun secured with bobby pins and hair net unless otherwise specified by the director. All students are required to wear make up, even the smallest students. They should wear a light mineral foundation, blush, eyeshadow (browns), eyeliner (black), mascara (false eyelashes required for team dancers, optional for recreational students), and lipstick (MUST BE RED-pink and brown do not show up well on stage). For your additional guidance please see the tutorials below. It is important that despite the colors they use in these videos that you use the colors as outlined above.

Photo Sessions & Class Photos
The Field Gallery will be joining us in studio from May 28-30th MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND to take our class photos and hold individual photo sessions for interested dancers. The FINAL photo schedule is outlined below.
1. Dancers will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to their first scheduled photo. Costumes will be distributed upon arrival so that dancers can change before their session time, all costumes must be returned before leaving. Photo sessions may run ahead of time and we may not be able to delay for missing dancers.
2. Dancers will need to have their hair and make up done PRIOR to arrival. Unfortunately photos move quickly and we will be unable to delay photos for dancers who are not prepared.
3. Dancers will need to have the shoes as outlined in their costume description. If he/she does not have the appropriate shoes they may not be included in their class photo.
4. Dancers will need to have their photography form completed if they are ordering photos, if you are not ordering photos you WILL still be included in your class photos. Please do not skip photo day if you are not purchasing photos, these photos will be included in the recital program. Photography forms can be downloaded below.
5. Dancers will need payment in an amount corresponding with their photo form. Photographer will accept cash, credit card, and Venmo.
IF YOU ARE UNSURE WHICH ARE YOUR DANCER’S CLASSES, YOU CAN LOG INTO YOUR PARENT PORTAL AND VIEW YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE. FOR ADDED CONVENIENCE, THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED CLASS TIME HAS BEEN LISTED FOR YOUR REFERENCE.

RESERVED FOR INDIVIDUAL PHOTO SESSIONS
To schedule private photo sessions for your dancer please reserve a time with Ms. Lizmarie at the front desk. Please be aware that there will be a required $25 cash deposit per dancer, this amount will be credited to your final photo purchase price. Please see pricing details below.
Costumes
Please locate your classes and corresponding costume information below. Please note that costumes will be distributed during the week of June 5th-9th during your dancers regularly scheduled class time. Costumes will only be distributed to dancers who’s accounts have been paid in full. Your dancer’s costume will arrive in the weeks prior to distribution and will be tried on during class time to ensure fit and use for class photos. It is important to remember that the costume will be provided by the studio but shoes, tights and earrings must be provided by the parent. All shoes and accessories required for routines must be purchased BEFORE your dancer’s group photo (please see photos above for tentative schedule). If your dancer does not have the appropriate shoes for the costume he/she may not be eligible for inclusion in their class photo.
BALLROOM SHOE GUIDE
Ballroom I Shoes
Ballroom level I shoes can be purchased by clicking the image. If these are not available in your dancer’s size you may purchase elsewhere but your shoes must be the same the same color as this image and MUST have the crisscross pattern as displayed here.
Ballroom II Shoes
Ballroom level II shoes can be purchased by clicking the image. Be sure you are choosing the 2.2″ heel and not the 2.8″. If these are not available in your dancer’s size you may purchase elsewhere but your shoes must be the same color as this image and MUST have the crisscross pattern as displayed here.
Ballroom III Shoes
Ballroom level II shoes can be purchased by clicking the image. Be sure you are choosing the 2.8″ heel and not the 2.2″. If these are not available in your dancer’s size you may purchase elsewhere but your shoes must be the same color as this image and MUST have the crisscross pattern as displayed here.
Recital Earrings
Recital earrings are mandatory. Please refrain from having your child wear other earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to either the rehearsal or recital. We will not be responsible for lost jewelry. Earrings can be ordered using the provided form in the section labeled Order Forms.
Back Stage Recommendations
We strongly recommend that you consider packing the following for your dancer on the day of recital:
Baby wipes
Safety Pins
Clear nail polish
Band-Aids
Hair spray and lots of bobby pins
Makeup for retouching
Extra tights
Laundry Hamper (If you have 5+ Routines) Garment Rack (If you have 5+ Routines)
SNACKS: Please feel free to send your dancer with water to drink and dry snacks (pretzels, crackers, granola bars). NO fruit or fruit juices as both will easily stain faces and costumes
Order Forms
Below you will find the 2023 recital order forms. Here you can purchase much needed recital items. Please be reminded that orders will not be accepted beyond June 5th, we cannot make any exceptions. Please print these forms yourselves, complete, and return to the studio with payment. Limited copies may be available at the front desk but form availability cannot be guaranteed.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Dancers MUST have recital T-Shirts in order to participate in the optional closing routine for the show. Participation in opening and closing is required for all Team Dancers.
Recital Dedication Pages & Advertisements
Dedication pages are an excellent way to let your dancer know just how proud you are of the work they have put in throughout the season! It is also an excellent way to advertise your business. Please utilize the form below to place orders for your recital dedication pages and advertisements. Please print these forms yourselves, complete, and return to the studio with payment. Limited copies may be available at the front desk but form availability cannot be guaranteed.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Design Options
Self Design Instructions:
You may return your self designed pages as a Microsoft Publisher file or as a PDF if you are designing your page in Microsoft Word. All self designed pages are accepted as is and are not subject to additional review or edit by program designers. Pay close attention to margins and use high resolution images where possible. Xpressit Dance Center will not be held responsible for print quality issues that are related to page design.
Discretionary Design Instructions:
Discretionary Design means that our program designers will create your page for you. In order to do this they will require an email to ads@xpressitdance.com with the subject Design Instructions: Your Dancers Name. You may send up to 6 photos. Your email should include photo attachments, dancers name/nickname as you want it to appear on the page, age if you want this detail included, the number recital performance this is for them (exe: it is my child’s 5th recital), and your personal dedication (up to 50 words). Your page will be designed using this information at the designers discretion. You will receive an emailed copy to review for technical errors only (name spelling, age, etc.). You are not permitted to request design changes, only to remit notice of errors. If the email receives no reply the page will be printed as is and Xpressit Dance Center will not be responsible for any technical errors.
3 Design Option:
Our program designers will create 3 pages for you to choose from. In order to do this they will require an email to ads@xpressitdance.com with the subject Design Instructions: Your Dancers Name. You may send up to 6 photos. Your email should include photo attachments, dancers name/nickname as you want it to appear on the page, age if you want this detail included, the number recital (exe: it is my child’s 5th recital), and your personal dedication (up to 50 words).
